The CD Replication Process

master-source.gif (2000 bytes) You send us your data on a pre-mastered CD-R or Replicated CD and a completed the IPR Form
stamper.gif (1669 bytes) From your pre-mastered CD-R we create a glass master. The glass master is used to create a metal mold called a "Stamper".
replication.gif (2088 bytes) The stamper is then mounted onto the disc molding machines.  The disc replication process is a two stage process.  First polycarbonate pellets are injection molded into the shape of your completed disc.  Then molten aluminum is sputtered to the back surface of the disc creating the reflective layer.  Information is stored on the discs as pits in the polycarbonate surface.  A CD drive reads the state of the information as either a "hole" or "no hole".
labelprinting.gif (2177 bytes) You supply an electronic file for your artwork (CD Art Templates).  The discs are printed by a silk screen printing or offset printing process.
packaging.gif (2077 bytes) A variety of disc packaging options are available.
ship.gif (2004 bytes) UPS, FedEx, LTL Trucking, etc. are common delivery options. We delivery to you or your customer according to your written instructions.

Extensive quality control procedures are in place to monitor the disc manufacturing during the production process.  Random sampling techniques are employed during production and again prior to shipping to insure that no "bad" discs leave the plant.  Our manufacturing facilities are fully licensed,  ISO 9002 compliant.
